Prestonwood Young Singles

The Prestonwood Young Singles Ministry is committed to sharing the Good News in both word and in deed because we believe the full Gospel reaches body and soul. In Acts 1:8 Jesus gives his followers a command to take his message of hope to the entire world. It is our desire to continue this mission by tangibly showing the love of Christ to our community, nation, and the world. We serve in the following ministries:

Austin Ranch,  Legacy Town  Center and Addison Circle

These apartment complexes are located within a five mile radius of our church and are community-driven complexes that many young singles reside in.  We seek to serve these communities through resident move-in days, free car washes, gift wrapping, and other servant-oriented tasks.

H.I.S. BridgeBuilders

This transformational ministry meets various needs of inner-city Dallas residents. The goal of this ministry is to promote unity and build bridges of hope centered upon the Gospel. “Community Fellowship,” which happens once a month in the Bonton Community, is a worship event which brings North and South Dallas together. Weekly needs include tutoring, facilitating Bible studies, and other service projects.

Hope Fellowship Church in Cambridge, MA

Prestonwood directly partners with this new church in it's efforts to reach the greater Boston region. It is located a few blocks from Harvard and is a thriving church in an urban setting. Our Young Singles goes four times a year (once in April, three times in July) to Boston in order to partner with this church in ministry. Over the last four years, close to 200 young singles have served alongside this Boston fellowship and as a result have grown tremendously in their faith. Amazon Outreach

We travel overseas once a year to Brazil to serve the residents in cities and villages along the Amazon. Pastor Elmer is our main contact and liason to help spread the good news of Christ to over 60,000 villages around his city. We conduct VBS services, participate in men's and women's ministry activities and provide a medical ministry for everyone who attends. This is a life-chanigng trip that allows us to see God's work on a global scale.
