Title

Evangelism and Young Singles

Proverbs 11:30 says, “He who wins souls is wise.” The lessons over the next six weeks will discuss the importance of sharing your faith. Rather than sharing methodology which is important (i.e. FAITH training, E.E, Roman Road, etc) the goal of this six week study is to get to the heart of the matter. It is to discuss the reason and motivation of why we should share our faith as well as discover insight regarding the influence that one can have in their personal relationships each day.

Week One

Week One- Evangelism Intro

Week One- Evangelism Intro will help you lay a foundation about evangelism and teach through the REACH card*.

*This REACH card helps focus our relationships and reminds us of the evangelism process. Week two is also based off the REACH card so it is imperative that each person receive one the first week.

Week Two

Week Two- Redefining Evangelism

Week Two- Redefining Evangelism notes that if the world sees evangelism as harsh and unwelcoming then it is up to us to redefine the term. This lesson will help you take the idea of evangelism and explore its true motivation and Christ’s original intent when sending those out to do it.

Week 3

Week Three- Boldness in Evangelism

Week Three- Boldness in Evangelism will help explain the force behind the boldness of the first believers. It will also push us to decide what the “next step” is we need to take in our own personal evangelism process.

Week Four

Week Four- Why Servant Evangelism?

In week four we will discuss why our Young Singles ministry strongly promotes servant evangelism. We do this because throughout the gospels we see Jesus teaching his disciples how to interact with the hurting and lost. Almost every time Christ touches someone he meets a physical or emotional need that breaks down spiritual barriers. Simply but servant evangelism breaks down barriers and opens hearts to Christ.

Week 5

Week Five- How to Share Your Faith

Week Five- How to Share Your Faith will teach your class how to share the gospel with one verse and their own testimony. These two tools are all that is needed when explaining God's saving grace.
